Purpose / opportunity

In May 2016, we made a number of ground paintings in the form of a sprint track to promote the European Athletics Championships. The sprint tracks are installed in different lengths at locations such as; Stopera, Amsterdam Arena, Sporthallen Zuid, Eye, Amsterdam Noord, Marineterrein, Plein 40/45, Station Zuid and the Olympic Stadium. We made the paintings with environmentally friendly materials. After the European Athletics Championships, we also removed the sprint tracks.
